Hurricane Preparedness

International Finance Bank is committed to our customers and the communities we serve. During this hurricane season we want to assure you that International Finance Bank has taken the steps to safeguard your privacy and all your information so that prior and after a storm our response to your needs is timely and effective.

As part of our preparedness plan, we want you to be informed as to the Bank’s policy in the event of a hurricane:

How long prior to a hurricane will branches be open?

International Finance Bank will remain open during a HURRICANE WATCH [1] and will monitor the storm’s progress. During this time the Bank will begin to secure its facilities.

The Bank will close all offices when a HURRICANE WARNING has been issued to allow time for our employees to join their families and complete their preparations. All International Finance Bank branches will post signage announcing the closing of the facility.

Because the Bank will be shutting down its operations, special deadlines for wires and other services may be set. Information is available by calling our main number 305-648-8800.
Online Banking will be available as long as there is power and communications.

How do I make a withdrawal if the Bank is closed?

All International Finance Bank ATM’s will remain operational even if the Bank is closed. You may access your account(s) with your International Finance Bank ATM or Debit card. Our ATMs will remain operational so long as there is power and communications.

You may also make withdrawals from non-International Finance Bank ATMs. You may be charged additional fees for this use of a non-proprietary ATM.

How will I know which branches are open after a hurricane?

The Coral Gables Branch is equipped with generators for ATM use and will be operational after the storm if the branch is not damaged.
